Youth Coaching

Learn fundamental ATHLETIC skills
while having fun.

As coaches, parents, and professors of exercise science, we constantly fight against two common issues for young athletes in sports:

  1. Young athletes develop incorrect form which put them at a risk for injury for the rest of their lives

  2. We see “gifted” athletes get pressured so much that they learn to hate the sport they once loved (and risk injury because they they’re playing and not training).

We want to empower young athletes to learn fundamental movement skills while having a good time. If they embody the basics, they’ll play safer, at a higher level, and for a lifetime.

But what’s the point

of playing a sport if you can’t

have fun?

We want to be the biggest champion for your child on their journey to becoming strong, skilled, and resilient athlete. By focusing on foundational movement patterns, we can help your child not only excel in their chosen sport but also enjoy it for a lifetime.

What are Foundational Movement Patterns?

Foundational movement patterns are the building blocks of athletic success. They encompass a range of essential movements such as squats, lunges, staying on the balls of your feet, and supporting your back. These movements are not just confined to the sports field; they're also required in everyday life. Imagine how many times you squat or lunge throughout your day – picking up toys, climbing stairs, or even sitting down in a chair. These seemingly simple motions have a profound impact on your child's overall athleticism and preparedness for their sport.
